Virat Kohli who is the famour in cricket history now a day, who is favorite of all the cricket fans, named for the Pretigeous Polly Umrigar Award while all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin will be named for the Dilip Sardesai Award at the Board of Control for Cricket in India's (BCCI) annual Award will held at 8th march here.

Virat Kohli became the first Indian Cricketer to be dedicate with the honour on three occasions, 2011-12 and in 2014-15.

Team India Present Captain Virat Kohli Presented as a Polly Umrigar Award, given to the  International Cricketer of the year, at the BCCI Annual Awards to be held in Bengaluru on March 8, the BCCI told.

 

Ravichandran Ashwin become the first Indian Cricket to receive the honour twice of Dilip Sardesai Award. The first was in 2011 and second in 2017.

"Ravichandra Ashwin will also become the first Indian Cricketer to receive the Dilip Sardesai Award twice. Ashwin won the first award instituted to honour the best performance in the bilateral test series between , India and West Indies after being named the man of the series in the three match test Series in 2011."

"In the four-match Test series last year, Ashwin picked up the Man of the Series award again for his outstanding show. In these four tests, he brilliant scored two centuries and also Picked up 17 wickets which includes two five-wicket hauls"

N. Ram, Ramachandra Guha and Diana Edulji -the BCCI Annual awards committee,  has nominated former domestic cricketers Rajinder Goel and Padmakar Shivalkar for the Col. C.K Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award

The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) has been chosen as the State Association of the Season (2015-16) for wining the Ranjo Trophy, C.K. Nayudu Trophy and also the women's Plate League Group.
