Exclusive: Nasir Jamshed will co-operate in PSL investigation
Nasir Jamshed, who was charged by the Pakistan Cricket Board in connection to the defilement outrage in the Pakistan Super League, has said that he's eager to co-work with the national board's examination.
The 27-year-old, said to have dodged PCB's endeavors to investigate him face to face in London, was accounted for to have sought total isolation. In any case, in a video message to Geo News, Jamshed said he was "ready to participate" once the National Crime Agency's examination finished.
"I have no power over what is being said in the media," Jamshed said. "I have neither changed habitations, nor am I escaping anybody. I am totally prepared to participate with the PCB. My lone demand is to let the NCA request being directed to achieve its decision first.
"This is something the PCB had expressed itself when they halted an FIA request. I trust that as well. To start with the NCA request ought to be finished. The PCB has expressed itself that they are in normal contact with the NCA, and are completely mindful of the request. When it closes, I will introduce myself as and when the PCB obliges me to," he said.
Sharjeel Khan, Khalid Latif, Mohammad Irfan and Shahzaib Hasan were the other four players temporarily suspended by the PCB for their charged inclusion in the embarrassment. Sharjeel and Latif were suspended quickly after the embarrassment broke out while Irfan and Shahzaib kept on playing in the competition and it was simply after the PSL season that examinations uncovered their claimed association as well.
