India Takes the series by 2-1 agaist England and kohli wins the 1st series as a captain

Well, India takes the series 2-1 and Virat Kohli wins his first ODI series as limited overs captain. That's all from the last game.

Indian Skipper, Virat Kohli, feel it was great demo by two new guys for the upcoming Champions Trophy.

"Dhoni helped me with dealing situation calmly, I've been taking to him a lot about it. It would have been good if won this match, I was planning to play 6 balls but was not in position to hit a big shot on the ball I got out. If we play to our potential, we would win," says Jadhav.

Eoin Morgan, the English Skipper says, "We finally got rewarded for our persistent attitude. It was similar to the wickets back home and after losing the toss, it was tough to deal with due but we had to do it hard way and we did that tonight."

Andre Russell West Indies Cricketer Banned for one year

Andre Russell west indies cricketer banned for one year for failing to file his whereabouts three times in 2015.

An independent anti-doping tribunal delivered the verdict in Kingston on Tuesday. The ban will be effective from January 31, 2017 and will end on January 30, 2018.The 28-year-old might appeal the ban as confirmed by his lawyer Patrick Foster.

The charge was pressed by the Jamaica Anti-Doping Commission (JADCO) in March 2016 after Russell was named in the West Indies squad for the World T20 in India, a tournament that he went on to win a month later. Later, Russell pleaded innocence by stating that he couldn't file his whereabouts due to his busy cricketing commitments and hence had asked his agent Will Quinn to handle proceedings. He went on to mention that he hadn't been properly trained to file whereabouts.

He also revealed in July last year during the Caribbean Premier League that it had been 'stressing and depressing' for him to carry on playing with the hearings happening at the same time.

their use of off-cutters combined with some brilliant yorkers. The off-cutters more so. England were cruising when Stokes and Root were going. But it was always going to be about one wicket on this sluggish pitch. 

India set the target of 144/8 in 20overs. where KL Rahul scored 71runs of just 47balls, Manish pandey 30runs of 26balls.

England team score 139/6 in 20overs.Root and Stroke socred 38runs.

 Result: India win 2nd T20 by 5runs at Nagpur.

Mohamad Shami to practice with team India

Mohammad Shami the team India pacer bowler has been asked to join the indian team in kanpur to work on his rehabilitation. MSK Prasad chief selector of indian team has confirmed this development and also revealed that he won’t take part in the T20I series against England.


Mohammad Shami is recovering from the knee injury and is advised to join the team as the facilities in his hometown are not good enough, and at the same time, the team physio could monitor his progress. In spite of Prasad confirming that he won’t be a part of the T20I series against England, Shami was seen bowling with a slower and a shorter run-up in the nets at the Green Park stadium in Kanpur ahead of the first T20I.

One Match suspension to Azhar Pakistan captain for slow over rate.

Pakistan's ODI captain Azhar Ali has been given a one-match suspension by the ICC for his side's slow over rate during the fifth ODI against Australia in Adelaide on Sunday 22nd Jan. Azhar will miss Pakistan's next ODI, on the tour of West Indies which will start on 31st March.

Azhar was also fined 40% of his match fee, while  the players were fined 20%,

The charge was laid by on-field umpires Simon Fry and C Shamshuddin, third umpire Chris Gaffaney, and fourth official Sam Nogajski, and came at the end of a disappointing series for Azhar. 

Pakistan were beaten 4-1, where Australia's win by 57 runs in the fifth Match. Azhar scored 24 runs in the first ODI before missing two matches due to a hamstring niggle. On his return, he scored 7 and 6 in the last two ODIs.
